Condition
A visual inspection of the aircraft shows no obvious sign of any damage or repairs. The aircraft was involved in two incidents. The first was a hard landing that occured about 15 years ago. There was a prop strike and nose gear and firewall damage. The firewall was replaced at that time. The second incident was another hard landing that occured about 5 years ago. This incident was not as bad. There was a prop strike, but no structural damage. The logbooks are original, complete, comprehensive, well organized and legible with proper repair documentation.
Exterior
The overall condition of the exterior is good. The finish has a moderate shine with moderate chips, a few scratches and some areas of missing paint.
Interior
The seats, carpet and plastic components are in good condition and the side panels are fair.

This 1999 172S is a great value. Although it has high airframe time, it has been well maintained and is a solid platform. The engine has high time as well, but was overhauled by Western Skyways just three years ago and is running great. The plane is IFR equipped with a GNS430W and includes a KAP140 auto pilot. The logbooks are all there and the aircraft has been recently inspected. The paint and leather interior look decent. If you are looking for a late model Skyhawk that is well equipped and don't want to spend alot, this one is for you. At this price it will not be available for very long, so be sure to contact us right away!
