Condition
A visual inspection of the plane shows no obvious signs of any damage or repairs. The logbooks are complete, original, well organized, legible and make no reference to any previous airframe damage history.
Exterior
The overall condition of the exterior is excellent. The finish has a moderate shine and there are some small areas of missing paint. There are a few minor chips here and there as to be expected.
Interior
The seats and all plastic components are in excellent condition. The carpet and side panels look good.
Message From the Owner
I have flown this aircraft for more than 1500 hours myself. I used to fly it for business but since I no longer do that, I am reluctantly selling it. I have flown nonstop many times to Florida from Indiana, from the East Coast to Indiana and once even flew nonstop from Houston TX to Indianapolis. It is that comfortable to travel in. It will cruse easily at 157 Knots and is a very stable and comfortable IFR platform even in bad weather. The club seating makes it so nice for passengers and two sets of golf clubs will fit into the front compartment. Other planes may fly faster, but you will be more rested when you arrive in the Lance even if it takes a few minutes longer. It has a range of more than 800 NM with IFR reserve and can still carry a 850 pound payload with full fuel. I once even flew it to the Bahamas with five passengers!! ~Ray
This 1979 Piper Lance II is an awesome airplane! The airframe is solid with a good maintenance history and it comes with a complete set of original logs. It has low total time and a recent prop overhaul. The plane is IFR equipped with a Garmin GNS430, an auto pilot, a stormscope and more. The paint and interior look good and although the engine has higher time since overhaul, it is running great and ready to fly anywhere. If you are looking for a long range, heavy hauler that can take you to far away places in style and comfort without breaking the bank, this is your chance.
