A visual inspection of the aircraft shows no obvious signs of any damage or repairs. The logbooks are original, complete, legible and make no reference to any previous airframe damage history.
The overall condition of the exterior is good. The finish has a moderate shine with some occasional areas of missing paint. There area few moderate chips and scratches as to be expected.
The seats, carpet, side panels and all plastic components are in good condition.
I purchased 16X to complete my private pilot and instrument training. The previous owner had this aircraft for 14 years before selling it to me because he wanted to upgrade to a 182. This airplane has helped 4 pilots that I know of start the journey to a airline job. I am ready to pass this airplane on to the next student pilot or someone who would like to own a solid inexpensive airplane.
This 1960 Cessna 172 is a great find! The airframe is solid and it comes with a complete set of original logs. The engine has low time since major overhaul, is running strong and is poised to provide many more hours of service. The plane is IFR equipped with King KX155 as the primary radio. If you are looking for a good, solid four seat airplane to build time and ratings or to just have cheap fun with, this is your chance. At this price, it will not be available for very long, so be sure to contact us right away!
