Condition

A visual inspection of the aircraft shows no obvious signs of any damage or repairs. The original logs up until 1997 were reportedly destroyed in a fire. New logs were started at that time and make no reference to any damage history.

Exterior

The overall condition of the exterior is excellent. The finish is very shiny with no missing paint. There are a few minor chips and scratches as to be expected.

Interior

The seats and all plastic components are in excellent condition. The carpet and side panels look good.

Message From the Owner

After a year long search, I found this airplane for sale just a few towns away, back in 2004. She was an ugly duckling of sorts, with a very dated paint scheme, in a fairly unattractive color. But she flew like a champ, so the rest is history. She's been hangered most of the time Ive owned her, and well-cared for. Lots of fun adventures, and many spectacular sights along the way as we roamed the country. The FAA doesn't think my health is what it should be, so I must part with this fine machine. ~Mike

This Cessna 182 Skylane is a great find! The airframe is solid and it has a great running, Western Skyways engine with lots of life remaining. The plane is IFR equipped with King avionics, an auto pilot, and traffic. There are a handful of extras such as skylights, a JPI engine monitor, LED landing light, Monarch fuel caps and more. The plane looks nice and flies wonderfully. If you are looking for a long range, simple to fly airplane that has a useful load big enough to let you take what you want, all on a reasonable budget, this is your chance. At this price, it will not be available for very long, so be sure to contact us right away!
