I purchased this airplane about 12 years ago to work on getting my pilots license, I also had some friends use it to build hours and work on their license’s as well. It is a well-built and very sturdy stable plane that is excellent for training or for an experienced pilot wanting a small personal aircraft.
This 1963 Cessna P172D/ Powermatic Skyhawk is a rare find! With only 32 of these aircraft remaining on the registry, you will have a hard time finding another one. The airframe is solid, it has low total time and comes with a complete set of original logs. The engine has low time since major overhaul and is running strong. If you are looking for an easy-to-fly Cessna 172, with the extra get up and go for those high elevation airports or short runways, this is your chance. At this price, it will not be available for very long, so be sure to contact us right away!
