Condition

A visual inspection of the aircraft shows no obvious sign of any damage or repairs. The logbooks are original, complete, well organized and legible. A review of the logs in conjunction with a discussion with one of the previous owners, revealed three incidents. The first occurred back in 1969. There is no explanation of what happened, but the logs note that both wings were replaced with new, as well as main struts, main wheels and one tire. The work was done in accordance with the Piper Service Manual by an FAA certified repair station. The second incident, according to the previous owner was a result of a taxi incident from another aircraft. This event occurred in 1980. There was damage to the tail of the aircraft. Full documentation is in the logbooks and all form 337's were filed. The third incident was a simple prop strike. There was no airframe damage and the engine had a teardown inspection performed by Pro Line Aircraft Engines in 2004. The engine had 298 hours on it at the time of the inspection. There is no other known previous damage.

Exterior

The overall condition of the exterior is good. The finish has a moderate shine and there are some areas of missing paint. There are a few scratches and some minor chips here in there as to be expected.

Interior

The seats, carpet, side panels, headliner and all plastic components are in good condition.

Message From the Owner

I have owned this plane for the last 3 years & has been a nice plane to get experience in and only selling to move up to larger plane. ~Mark

This Cherokee 180 is an absolutely awesome value! It has only 622 hours on a Clydesdale engine overhaul. The logs are original, and it shows a fantastic maintenance history. It is well-equipped with IFR Avionics, including an autopilot. It was stripped and painted in 1999 and looks super. At this price it will not last long, so be sure to contact us right away!
