Condition
A visual inspection of the aircraft shows no obvious sign of any damage or repair. The aircraft was involved in an incident in 2011 where there was a loss of power that resulted in an off field landing. There was no airframe damage at all as a result of the incident. The engine was replaced with a new one at that time and the plane was returned to service. The logbooks are original, complete, well organized, legible and make no reference to any airframe damage history.
Exterior
The overall condition of the exterior is good. The finish has a moderate shine and there are no areas of missing paint. There are a few chips and scratches as to be expected.
Interior
The seats, carpet and plastic components are in good condition and the side panels are excellent.

It has a burn rate of 4.6 hrs/gal. It accepts MoGas and motorcycle oil. The FAA will allow IFR checkrides in this platform; thus, it is one of the cheapest IFR training platforms currently available. This aircraft type is used by the USAF as an initial trainer through the IFS program. It was used in Colorado as a USAF pre course trainer. Hangered up until recently. Comes with a set of spare tires, winterization kit, and wheel fairings.
This Diamond DA20 Katana-100 is a fantastic find. It has low time on a factory new engine and comes with a complete set of original logs. The aircraft has just rcently undergone the comprehensive 6000 hour factory inspection. It is well equipped with an IFR avionics package that includes a Garmin 430W and traffic. With the ability to burn auto fuel and the extremely low consumption rate, this plane is very inexpensive to operate, making it a great IFR/training/time building platform.
