Condition
A visual inspection of the aircraft shows no obvious signs of any damage or repairs. The logbooks are original, complete, well organized, legible and make no reference to any previous airframe damage history.
Exterior
The overall condition of the exterior is good. The finish has a moderate shine and there are some areas of missing paint. There are some minor chips and a few scratches as to be expected.
Interior
The seats, carpet, and side panels are all in excellent condition. The plastic components look good as well.

Avionics have been recently reconditioned by Craig Avionics. 170B and new indicator have not been reinstalled, just need to get there to do it and have it all dialed in.Everything from firewall forward is all pretty much new, engine,boost pump,all hoses. This new engine is so smooth and quite and has awesome power. Great trainer for VFR and IFR. Full panel, 2VORS,EGT, Area 510 is panel mounted. Distance can be measured form Apollo which also has VOR tracking.Oil changes are done every 30hrs, no oil added, and Camguard is used. Oil samples done by Blackstone right from day 1. Front seats have been redone and new foam added. New Alt and encoder been installed. Very nice stable airplane,everything works and is very warm in the winter. Tanis preheater installed and cockpit is always preheated before winter flights.Up to date on all ADs, and no corrosion. It does have a cab cover that goes with it.
This 1974 Piper Cherokee 140 with the 160hp upgrade is a great deal. The plane comes with a complete set of original logs and has no damage history. The engine has very low 280 hours since major overhaul. It is IFR equipped with King radios and an auto pilot.
