Condition
A visual inspection of the aircraft shows no obvious signs of any damage or repairs. The logbooks are original, complete, well organized and legible. In 2017, the Aircraft was taxiing and the left wing made contact with a fuel truck causing minor damage. The outboard leading edge was professionally repaired and fully documented.
Exterior
The overall condition of the XT rear is good. The finish has a moderate shine and there are some areas of missing paint. There are a few chips and scratches as to be expected.
Interior
The seats are in good condition. The carpet, side panels and all plastic components look fair.
Message From the Owner
I searched for over one year before I found this Apache 18 years ago. It has been well maintained and had its 1,000 inspection several years ago where control surfaces and cowlings were reskinned and repaired. This is a great flying airplane, but I am in my 60s now and its time for something else.
This 1959 piper Apache is a rare find! The air frame is solid and it comes with a complete set of original logs. It has average times on the airframe, and both engines. it is IFR equipped with a combination of king, Norco and Apollo Avionics. The plane is flown regularly, runs strong and is set to provide many more years of service. If you were looking for a low-cost multi engine time builder or just prefer to have the redundancy and safety of a light twin, this one Is for you.
