A visual inspection of the aircraft shows no obvious signs of any damage or repairs. The logbooks are complete, original, well organized, legible. There was a gear up landing incident in 1995. At that time, the engine was overhauled, the prop was replaced and there were airframe repairs that include wing and fuselage skin replacement as well as other undercarriage repairs. All repairs were performed professionally and are fully documented. See online logs for more details. We are unaware of any other damage history.
The overall condition of the exterior is good. The finish has a moderate shine and there are no areas of missing paint. There are no noticeable chips, but are a few scratches as to be expected.
The seats, carpet, side panels and all plastic components are in good condition.
I am selling this plane for my father, who along with my mother enjoyed flying it for years. It is a great plane and I hope the new owner loves it as much as they have.
This 1962 Piper Comanche 250 is a great airplane! It has a good maintenance history, no damage history and comes with a complete set of original logs. The engine has low time since major overhaul and is running strong. It is IFR equipped with a Garmin GNS 430 and has many extras like a three blade propeller, long-range fuel and more. The paint and interior look nice and the plane is ready to go. If you are looking for an awesome retractable gear airplane that is fast and fun to fly, this one could be for you. At this price, it will not be available for very long, so be sure to contact us right away!
