Message From the Owner

My two partners and I purchased 35M in the early 1980’s from a pilot who lives in Plains, Georgia, former President Jimmy Carter’s hometown. Although we don’t believe Carter was ever a passenger in 35M, the previous owner flew Carter many times while he was first campaigning for governor and later for president. Our use of the airplane has been a mix of business and pleasure for more than 30 years, and I’m pleased to state that in more than 4,000 hours, we have never had any emergencies. My two partners had business interests in most of the southeast states while my uses were to make Angel Flights and to visit relatives in Mississippi and South Carolina. The Atlanta-based airplane has operated faultlessly during trips to Nantucket, Oshkosh, south Texas and Provo, Utah. One reason we were blessed with so few problems is that we have had the same fine mechanic ever since we purchased the airplane. Others may call him a “nit-picker,” but we call him “thoroughly professional.” Our hope is that the future owner(s) have a similar experience with 35M: a trustworthy, low maintenance flyer that gets admiring glances wherever she goes. This 1975 Skylane is a fantastic value. It is very nicely equipped with IFR radios including a GPS and a comprehensive auto pilot that will fly an ILS approach. It has a meticulous maintenance history with complete logs and no damage history. The paint looks great and it has a very nice leather interior. At this price it will not be available for sale for very long so be sure to contact us right away!
