Condition
A visual inspection of the plane shows no obvious signs of any damage or repairs. The logbooks are complete, original, well-organized, legible and make no known reference to any previous airframe damage history.
Exterior
The overall condition of the exterior is good. The finish has a moderate shine with some occasional areas of missing paint. There are a few minor chips and scratches as to be expected.
Interior
The seats, carpet, side panels and all plastic components are in good condition.
Message From the Owner
My father bought 4881R in the early 1980's to replace a straight leg non turbo 182. He wanted a plane with a bit more speed and range. He flew the plane until declining health prevented him from flying. The plane has always been stored in a hanger in Walla Walla Washington but has not been flown regularly for a number of years. It has been kept in flying condition and has had an annual each year. As his guardian and conservator, I am consolidating his assets to provide for the cost of his care as Dad is no longer able to live independently.
This 1978 Cessna Turbo Skylane RG is an awesome find! The total time is very low and it comes with a complete set of original logs. The engine has very low time since major overhaul and runs great. The plane is IFR equipped with basic older Cessna radios that are functional. If you are looking for a long range, heavy hauler that can go high and fast, all without breaking the bank, this is your chance.
