Message From the Owner

THE STORY OF MY SKYLANE. (C-182) I bought N815GK twenty years ago, in 2004. At the time it carried the N52425 label. ( About the name change I tell later. ) In that twenty years the airplane has been a great family SUV. It took us all over the country, from Florida to Canada, and a lot of places in between. I am the second owner of the aircraft. My first encounter with a C-182 was at Clark Air Base, in the Philippines in the 1980’s. I liked the way the plane flew, the way it handled, and everything about it. When I returned state-side I started looking for a C-182. In 2004 I found one in Florida, bought it and changed the N number legally when the plane acquired a new paint-job. (About the N number: We have three daughters, the numbers represent part of their birthdays, one born on Nov. 8, one on Feb. 1, and one on Sep 5, that is the “815” G is for Garcia, my wife’s family name, K is for Krajcsik, my name, so it is 815GK) I have been flying for 60 years, but age catches up with all of us. I lost my medical and now, it is time to say “Good-bye.” I am selling N815GK. Good-bye faithful bird.

This 1974 Cessna 182 is an awesome find! The airframe is solid with no known damage history and it comes with a complete set of original logs. The engine was overhauled in 2013 by Zephyr and has less than 800 hours. The avionics are basic, but everything works. If you are looking for an inexpensive, easy to fly four-seater than has long range and a big useful load, here is your chance. At this price, it will not be available for very long, so be sure to contact us right away!
