Condition

A visual inspection of the aircraft shows no sign of any damage or repairs. The logbooks are original, complete, comprehensive, well organized and make no reference to any previous airframe damage history. In early 2015, the current owner experienced and in-flight engine failure and made a safe, uneventful landing at the airport. There was no damage to the aircraft at all. The cause of the engine failure was discovered through disassembly. According to a discussion with the mechanic, a set screw from the prop came loose and ended up inside the engine. This in turn caused internal damage. All components were inspected, repaired and replaced as necessary and the engine was returned to service with the existing times being continued. See engine log below for details.

Exterior

The overall condition of the exterior is excellent. The finish has a moderate shine, there are no noticeable chips or scratches and there is no missing paint.

Interior

The seats, carpet and plastic components are in excellent condition and the side panels look good.

Message From the Owner

I traded in my Cirrus a couple years ago for this great Saratoga. I especially liked the power, stability and ease of flying, especially in IFR conditions. I am planning to upgrade to a Socata TBM soon, so I have decided to sell. I have really enjoyed this aircraft and trust the new owner will get as much joy from owning it as I have. ~Adriaan

This Saratoga II TC is an absolutely awesome aircraft. It has very low time on the airframe, and the engine and turbo charger have just been overhauled including upgraded cylinders. The aircraft is complete with a TKS anti-ice system, factory air conditioning and a full Garmin G1000 glass panel. The Stec 55x auto pilot is fully functional, is coupled to the navigation system and includes altitude pre-select and GPSS. The interior consists of luxurious leather club seating with the convenience of XM music inputs to keep restless passengers happy on those long cross country flights. If you are a discriminating pilot looking for the best Saratoga around, this is your plane. At this price, it will not be available for very long, so be sure to contact us right away!
